Is GWdressup safe? - Guild Wars Forums

Considering texmod effed up my laptop's graphics card (which was discrete rather than integrated) through video corruption and overheats, I am wondering if anyone has used this:

I'd try it on a clean account... not on my main ones.

On a sidenote: if I use it I'll feel like a grown man playing Barbie. -.-

It's safe, I used it once on my main, but to ensure safety continue to use on your alt. seeing as there is no reason to use on your main because all you need is the profession available you desire to dress up.

it's just an enchanted texmod , i see no problem in using it if you already used texmod

I'm not sold, I don't use it. I was under the impression it interacts directly with the GW client rather than modifying textures a la Texmod.

Right, I had heard that too- but I've been using it and so far no problems at all. It helped me make my armor combination that I ended up getting yesterday, so I like it.

Not sure, but it's been out for a month now? Not sure and there haven't been any complaints from the users.

Plus its made the screenshot request a lot more reliable for a response.

I'm just worried users of it may get caught up in the next big bot ban..maybe I'm just paranoid :P

Please try searching the forum in the future before posting a question - people asking if the software available on that website is safe/legal has come up multiple times already. A quick search for "argos" came up with:

Is this "illegal"

is this legit ?
